I am thrilled to present my art in my new space at Crossroads Art Center, Richmond, VA. The first installation is a collection of new works featuring landscapes from the shore and marshes in my home state of Virginia.
"Stillness Covers the Land - Snowy Landscape" group show at Gallery Flux, Ashland, VA. Opened with rave reviews for the beautiful work by talented artists. A fine collection of landscapes capturing the beauty and coldness of a winter's snow.
I am excited about my upcoming showing of recent paintings at the Cabell Gallery, Lexington VA. In the collection I will have landscapes and still life pastel paintings that I have created special for this event.
The opening reception is Friday November 3rd and the show will be on view through the month.
It's a busy season for me with classes and a workshop that I will be teaching this fall.

Painting the Still Life in Pastels
I spent a week in the town and surrounding areas of Floyd Virginia
for the Plein Air Festival. It is a lovely area of Virginia, located near the
Blue Ridge Parkway and an abundance of farmland and rural areas.
My painting "Winding Road" received an award, which I am thrilled about
being that there were many very talented artists participating in the event.
