I started off 2016 with a visit to Italy to see family and spend some time 
painting the landscape. The "Old Country" is mighty pretty even in
​wintertime. ​

​July 2015 was an unusually green month in Virginia, with lots of rain to promote the growth of grasses and crops. Looking off into the south west, is a fabulous view of the Little North Mountain range, 
here painting with my best painting buddy.

​This winter we have been blessed with a beautiful snowfall.
I took full advantage of the opportunity, despite the cold
